Have you ever wanted to learn how to sew?  Demystifying sewing, patterns and fit is what we do.  Attending this comprehensive 6 week series will give you the opportunity to learn the basics of making a useful item, deciphering a pattern and making a top that is just fit for your body and finally really letting the creative juices flow by making a quilted gilet which is perfect for the coming season.

We encourage a warm and inclusive environment for all abilities, so if you’ve sewn years ago and want a refresher, or are completely new to sewing, this is the course for you.

This 6 week series will set people up to understanding the basics of dressmaking. You will be making three items over the 6 week series.

Thursday 18th October - Tote bag with Origami Trim

Thursday 25th October - Cut pattern for top

Thursday 1st November - Start top

Thursday 8th November - Finish top

Thursday 15th November - Cut and quilt a gilet

Thursday 22nd November - Finish gilet

The patters and instructions are included, Material is not. Once booked we will be in touch regarding what material requirements are.

Refreshments will be provided during this workshop.
